The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track position in Industrial Engineering with research interests that include applications in Healthcare Engineering. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor level may also be considered. This hiring is part of a cluster of healthcare-related positions created across the University to advance research and education in areas of Healthy Living and Healthy Aging linked through the PERFORM Research Centre.

Qualifications and assets
Applicants must possess bachelor's and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. Membership or eligibility for membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required. The candidate will conduct independent scholarly research, attract strong external funding and demonstrate industrial application of their research activities. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to the supervision of MASc and PhD students, and to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The language of instruction at Concordia is English, however, knowledge of French is an asset.
