The Mitchell E. Growth in the undergraduate Business Analytics and Information Management major, the MS in Business Analytics and Information Management program, and the growth of the Integrated Business and Engineering degree program has created opportunities for teaching faculty who excel in the development and mentorship of students who will be future leaders of business through technology.

We are seeking to fill a Clinical Track faculty position, starting in Fall 2024. This full-time, non-tenure track clinical faculty position will be at the Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate rank.  A Ph.D. in information systems or related discipline is strongly preferred; however, a candidate with a master’s degree with industry experience at the executive level will be considered.

Teaching is a primary duty of the position and opportunities exist in the following areas:

• Technology Product Management
• Development Operations (DevOps) and Technology Solutions
• Machine Learning Operations (MLOps)
• Data Engineering
• Experiential, project-based capstone courses

Another expected duty is service which can be in the form of committee assignment/participation, administrative support of area, department, School, and/or University operations, leadership activity, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• A Ph.D. in information systems or related discipline is strongly preferred; however, a candidate with a master’s degree with industry experience at the executive level will be considered. Degree must be completed prior to the first day of the Purdue University Fall 2024 semester.

Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will have past experience teaching, instructing or mentoring undergraduate students.
