The Senior Scientist assists in the design, testing and updates of more complex algorithms created for new functionality or products. Works with the development team in the implementation of algorithms and documents solution approaches. Tests analytical solutions and algorithms to ensure they fulfill product management and/or customer requirements.  Supports designs for optimization algorithm within product suite.

Our R&D team is the heart and soul of Manhattan Associates’ product portfolio.  They design the future of our products ahead of the curve both technically and operationally over our competitors.  You will be floating in the cloud, drinking your fair share of Java, and getting creative daily.  You will have the opportunity to learn and interact with people from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets to enhance your technical knowledge while on a path for career growth internally at Manhattan Associates.

Required Skills

• PhD or foreign equivalent degree in operations research, computer science, industrial engineering or a related technical field
• 1 year of experience designing algorithms and mathematical models
• 1 year of experience solving and analyzing mathematical models using a commercial optimization solver
• Position leveling may be subject to change based on experience
